Obituary of Betty Ann Docherty 

 Betty Ann Docherty 64, resident of Ballard, passed away on Friday 4-22-05 after a brief struggle with cancer.  Betty was born in Perryton, Texas on 2-4-41.  She moved to the Seattle area in 1968 where she resided since.  Betty will be remembered by her beautiful blue eyes and gorgeous smile.  Loved by many and will be missed by all of those she touched over the years.  She was an avid Mariners fan.  She spent many of her final years in care of her loving partner Ron Gulseth.
 She was the loving mother of Vernell and Glen Sodergren; Mischell Kelley (preceded in death); Debra and Calvin Tuck; Rick Rogers; Ronda Van Drongelen.
 Grandmother of Michael Kelley; Katie Searles; John and Casey Sodergren; Jennie and Ryan Morgan; Krysti Searles; Ricky Rogers; Breaunna Hollingsworth; and L.J. Hollingsworth.
 Great Grandchildren; Katelyne and Kyle Sodergren.  Per her wishes a private service was held on Thursday April 28.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation or Huntington's Disease Society.
