Betty A Hammer Betty A Hammer, 78, of Kansas OH, died at 12:40 p.m. Tuesday, March 10, 2 004, in Autumnwood Care Center in Tiffin. She was born Oct. 20, 1925, in Fostoria, to the late Earl M and Margueri te (Joseph) Bradner. On Aug. 26, 1946, in St. Mary's Catholic Church in Mi llersville, she married John W Hammer. He died Aug. 19, 1994. Survivors include: a daughter, Mrs. Harold (Sharon) Biddle of Tiffin; t wo sons, David W (Phyllis) Hammer of Kansas and Jeffery W (Debora) Hamm er of Fostoria; five grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and one gre at-great-grandchild; a brother, Edgar (Barbara) Bradner of Fostoria; and f our sisters, Dorothy Decker of Tiffin, Kathryn Hallman, Donna Greg, and Mr s. John (Marcia) Smith, all of Fostoria. She was preceded in death by her husband and a brother, John R Bradner. Mrs. Hammer was a homemaker and a member of St. James Catholic Church in K ansas. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday in St. James Cat holic Church in Kansas with Father Theodore J Miller, officiating. Buri al will be in St. Mary's Parish Cemetery, Millersville, where a funeral lu ncheon will follow in St. Mary's parish Hall. Visitation will be 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Friday at Hoening Funeral Home in Fost oria, where a Christian Wake service will be 8:30 p.m. Memorials may be made to St. Mary's School, Millersville, or SCAT- Sene ca CO Agency Transportation.
