In Dec Betty turned 90 years old. 2004- November Betty was experiencing congestive heart failure and was rushed to the hospital and recovered shortly. 2005 - Jan 27, Betty's new place of residenancy 'HUNTINGTON VALLEY HEALTHCARE CENTER', Huntington Beach , CA. 2005 - May 30 - Died, Huntington Beach Hospital, Huntington, Orange County, Beach , CA

Betty Jane Bork was my mother: she was born in Omaha, Douglas, Nebraska 11 Dec, 1913. She may have lived in: Colorado, , she lived in Colorado when she was three years old where they owned a ranch, then her family moved to Lusk, , Wyoming, where her father died in 1920, (she says sometimes they moved by covered wagon and sometimes by train)

After her father died; her mother delivered his second child a boy named Fredrick, Bork.  Her  mother remarried to a man named Bill Stanki, he left after finding out she was expecting his child, which she miscarried later.  The Wyoming ,moved from the  oil shack which her father had built,  maybe to Toledo, Ohio, to be near family members. then back to Omaha, Nebraska, where she met and married her husband Wesley Milton Lambertson. They married  1932, They began raining a family in Council Bluffs, Pottowattami County, Iowa.  In 1942, they moved to Compton, Los Angeles, California, to find work in the Bethleham Ship Yards, and  they both became  welders, I remember staying at child care services which was located in one of the rooms at the grammer school I attended, then she became pregnant and stayed home with her small children.

In 1950 Betty and Wesley bought their first home, in Compton, California, on Oris St. it was what was called a Frame House, in Feb of 1955 she had her 7th child, Darrell Wynn. in 1969 her Step father, William Iseminger; passed away in Iowa, leaving her mother; Julia Margaret/Buerkey/Bork/Stienki/Iseminger a widow for the 2nd time, julia came to California to live with her only living child, Betty Jane, Wesley & Betty bought their 2nd home in Compton on Frailey Ave

• • • Stories told by Betty, to me, her daughter Sally Anne Lambertson, Ungeheier: At age 3 they owned a ranch in Ingnasio Colorado, her father had two teames of horses and wagons he hired other drivers and they delivered supplies to the oil fields in Lusk Wyoming, where at the age of 6, her father: Harry David Bork, died of the FLU (1920 FLU epidimac), he had been on his way home when he took sick and went into a Line Shack, for shelter, he was found by a friend who took him to town to a hote in Lusk, where he died. During his life time he had built several homes (oil shacks) for them to live, the last home Betty can remember was in Lusk Wyoming, it consisted of one large room, out door pump, and out house. At abt age 8; they had just leased a boarding house when a fire broke out, several buildings away but the winds carried the flames and the boarding house was burned and all was lost, new furniture was being delivered at the time and was left on the front lawn and destroyed.

Jan 2000 Betty went to live with her daughter Sally Ungeheier, in Orange County, she lived there until October of 2002, when she suffered from many small strokes, called TIA's, then she resided in a Board and Care Guest Home, and is doing very well *************************************************************************************************************************** Jan 15 2004- Betty was rushed to the hospital with congestive heart failure where she spent 3 days and was released, with low blood presure and rushed back to the hospital and released with advice to be put in Hospis Care, with the tender care of 'Aspen Family Care' she recovered quickly

After finding Betty's Birth Certificate, I find that her birthname was given as: Betty Jane Brown; born on Dec 11, 1913 in Omaha, Douglas County, Nebraska and that her father was given as: H. D. Brown, Born in Pennsylvania, a salesman by trade, her mother was Julia, no maiden name: born in Michigan, a housewife. A copy of her birth certificate is in my files
