  971 Betsey Swan (Rachel Gould 7, Mary Brewster 6, James 5, Jonathan 4, Wrestling 3, Love 2, William 1), married at Sharon, Conn., October 15, 1821, Charles F. Sedgwick, son of John A. and Nancy (Bull) Sedgwick of Cornwall, Conn., born there, September 1, 1795; died at Sharon, March 9, 1882. She died at Sharon, October 11, 1894.
  Charles F. Sedgwick attended Williams College, and was a lawyer at Sharon. He served as State Attorney for Litchfield County for twenty years; was a member of the Connecticut Legislature and Senate, and was a major general in the Connecticut State Militia.
