Bessie would always show such happiness with our childrens accomplishments. The children would want to let Bessie know their choice of Halloween costumes or their new school clothes for the year. Bessie helped the children wash dishes one afternoon while dad was gone to pick up mom at the airport, after one of her trips to DC to judge the 4 of July parade there. Bessie called our son Matthew her little Robert Redford (a movie actor). We have many special memories with Bessie. Our family shall never forget our dear angel Bessie Sinclair Hoggatt.
