Bessie Jones, Longtime City Resident, Passes Mrs. Bessie Irene Jones, 51, resident of Hillsboro for 28 years, died Friday in a local hospital after a short illness. Funeral services were held Sunday at the Hillsboro Baptist church, Rev. W. T. Mugford officiating, with interment in the Fir Lawn cemetery. Donelson and Sewell were in charge of arrangements.

Surviving are her husband, Beecher Jones, Hillsboro, two sons, Dale, Auburn Cal., and Delmar, Marysville Cal., two daughters Mrs. Mildred McLaughlin, and Katherine Jones, Hillsboro; her mother Laura Alice Fuller, Hillsboro; five grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Mabel Campbell, Reno, Nev., and Lela Fuller, Portland, and one brother, Howard Fuller, Hillsboro.

Bessie Fuller was born on January 1, 1890, in Iowa. She came to Oregon with her parents as a girl, and was married to Beecher Jones at Amity on November 28, 1907. She became a member of the Baptist church in 1905 and was an active member of the Hillsboro Rebekah lodge.
