1943 - The following notice appeared in "The Colac Herald" Monday 4 January 1943: FRITH - On 2nd January 1943 Bessie Jean, dearly beloved third daughter of William and Margaret Frith of Alvie, aged 19 years. At Rest. The cortege is timed to move from the George James Private Chapel "Lislea House", Corangamite St at 2pm TOMORROW (Tuesday) for the Colac Cemetery. Friends please accept this intimation. 1943 - On Wednesday 20 January 1943 there also appeared the following: BEREAVEMENT NOTICE - Mr & Mrs Frith and Family desire to thank all kind friends and relatives for letters, cards and floral tributes and personal expressions of Sympathy in their recent sad bereavement.
