Bertha Mohring, 85, of Ridgeville Corners, died at her residence on Sunda y, January 21. She was born in Clinton Twp on March 8, 1915, the daught er of Fred and Ida (Harms) Mohring.

She was employed at the Henry CO Hospital as a cook for over 35 years. S he was also a member of St. John Lutheran Church, Freedom Twp where she w as a member of its quilting circle.

Survivors include three nieces and three nephews, eight great nieces and s ix great nephews, and four great-great nephews and two great-great niece s. Preceeding her in death were brothers Ferdinand "Ferd", and Edwin Mohri ng.

Funeral services for Bertha Mohring were held at St. John Lutheran Churc h, Freedom Twp Wednesday at 11 a.m. with Rev. Stephan Nierman officiatin g. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Memorial contributions m ay be directed to St. John Lutheran Church, Freedom Twp Ridgeville Corne rs Fire and Rescue, The Filling Home of Mercy Aquatic Pool, or to a chari ty of the donor's choice.
