Died, 49 years of age. was a early day printer for the Bartlesville Enterpirse, died at 10pm. of Hemmorage of the throat. . Came back from Compton, California because of ill health, visiting in the home fo sister, Mrs. JJ Raynor and Mrs CA Keener of Tuxedo. Spent early years in Bartlesville. Left in 1927, going to Kansas City, Kansas, later Gary, Indiana then back to Kansas City, then California. Survivors Tempa Mae, wife, Daughter Mrs. Lousie Hardman, of Southgate, California, bother JC of Bartlesville, and 2 sisters. Buried in Memorial Park (Oct. 1 1947)

Bernard was 28 and Tempa was 24 at time of marriage in Bk. 11, pg 122. Married by a Judge of the District Court, Bartlesville, Ok.

Marriage lic. recorded in Bartlesville, Ok. pg. 122. states that Mr. Bernard J. Godwin age 28 and Mrs . Tempa Mae Godwin age 24, both of Bartlesville, Ok. Washington Co. state of Oklahoma married June 14, 1926 by J.R. Charlday (spelling) 

District Judge.   witness Mrs. Grace Bohafer and MA Mikil.
