    "Benjamin Lindsley. Born about 1670, died 1750. On May 5/1704, he sold to his brother Ebenezer the land his father had deeded to him and bought land in North Branford. His Will bequeathed his lands to his sons Abiel and Matthew, and to his daughters, £50 each. He married in 1697, the widow Mary (Allin [Bartholomew]) Goodrich, widow of Bartholomew Goodrioh born September 3/1647, died 1695-6. Mary was born February 25/1661, fourth child of John & Ellen (Bradley) Allin [William & Mary (Johnson) Bartholomew], and had five children by Bartholomew."
