"Lewis, Benjamin. He was among the first settlers of Wallingford, 1670; rem. to Stratford by 1679. Married Hannah Curtis, dau. of John, b. 2 Feb. 1654/5, d. 21 Oct. 1728 in 74 yr. Despite prominence of family, births of children were not recorded in Stratford, we find no death record of Benjamin, and no probate. Several of the children are placed circumstantially."

This burial is not documented in the Hale Collection. There appears to be no evidence of the actual place of burial. According to Jacobus, his date of death is unknown.
