Fields of Sowerby Near Halifax, England, and of Flushing, New York, p. 92, says this Benjamin married 1727 Sarah Taylor, but of course, that marriage (see Friends Records, NYGBR, Vol. 6, p. 105) was the third marriage of his father, Benjamin Field, to widow Sarah Taylor. Source:Field, Warren James. Some Field Family Journeys: Selected Descendants of Reger Del Feld, p. 194, rejects Osgood Field's arrangement because "she would be 27 years younger", which would be hard, because that would put her birth in 1720, making her 7 at the time of marriage (presumably he meant older). In any event, the 1727 marriage to Sarah Taylor does not belong to this Benjamin.
