She was a daughter of Benjamin Clark of Medfield, who owned what is now known as the Peak house from its peculiar peaked shape, and was a selectman seventeen years, town treasurer and Representative to General Assembly for two years.

Wheelwright being about Seventy fives years of Age", dated 18 Mar 1721, proved 28 Dec 1724, names wife Dorcas Clark; daughter Hannah Mason; son Theophilus Clark; son Timothy Clark; son Edward Clark; daughter Tabitha Samford; son Seth Clark. Wife Dorcas to be executor. 25 Dec 1724: Dorcas Clark refuses trust of executorship. Administration cum testamenta annexo granted to Edward Clark of Medway.
