    In Lincklaen, March 9th, of chronic infammation of the liver, Mr. Benjamin H. Burdick, in the 75 year of his age. His sufferings were great, which he bore with Christian fortitude. Bro. Burdick was born in Hopkinton, R. I., in 1781. His parents removed subsequently to Petersburg, N. Y., where he remained till 1805, when they removed to German, now called Lincklaen, Chenango Co., N. Y., where he spent the last 50 years of his life. He first joined the Berlin Seventh-day Baptist Church, where he remained a member until the formation of the DeRuyter Church. He remained a member of this church till the Lincklaen Church was organized. He then removed his standing to the Lincklaen Church, of which he remained a member until his death. Bro. Burdick has been a valuable man in society, and a pillar in the church.
