Bee B. Halsey is listed in the 1880 census for Rockaway, Morris Co., New Jersey, living with his uncle Edmund Halsey. Bee is an 18 year old student, lists his birth place as Virginia, his father: NY and his mother: VA.

Biographical Notes contributed by Kay Fenton: Dr Bee Halsey is in the Directory of Deceased American Physicians, 1804-1929. He attended and graduated from University of Maryland School of Medicine, Baltimore: University of Maryland School of Medicine and College of Physicians and Surgeons, 1885 graduate. He was licensed to practice in West Virginia in 1886, California 1890, and Arizona 1910, He began his medical practice in Winkleman, AZ in May 28, 1913. Family oral history is that he died while attending patients in a flu epidemic in Winkleman. His death certificate says pneumonia so it is probable that the family history is correct.
