    Note: No vital record of any kind mentioning a Bathsheba Thatcher/Thacher has been located, specifically no marriage of Bathsheba to Mr. Thatcher/Thacher. Yarmouth VRs does have the marriage of a Bathsheba Killey to William Ransom on 19 Jan 1786, right about when this Bathsheba would be of age to marry... One would suspect this kind of mention would originate in a probate file, which would be about 1803 or soon after (if it is her father's probate that names her), but we are not given any specifics.
