ISSUE BARTHOLOMEW DRIGGS, b. 9th May, 1745, in Middletown, Conn.; d. 1828, in Athens, Greene Co., N. Y. Enlisted 20th Mar. 1762, in the Ninth Company, Capt. Robert DURKEE, First Connecticut Regiment, Lieut.-Col. Israel PUTNAM commanding; discharged 31st Dec. 1762; took part in the expedition against Havana, in the campaign of 1762. It is said he also served in the Continental Army during the War of the Revolution. m. 1768, Elizabeth SPENCER, b. 4th Sept. 1751, dau. of John and Elizabeth (TAYLOR) SPENCER, of East Haddam, Conn.
