Azalia K. "Molly" Miller June 29, 1918 - June 9, 2006 Azalia K. "Molly" Miller, 87, of Duncansville died Friday morning at Select Specialty Hospital, Johnstown. She was born in Newry, a daughter of the late Benjamin F. Sr. and Pearl (Glunt) Detrick. She was married to A. Clair Miller June 14, 1948, by the Rev. J.V. Mullens in Ebensburg. He preceded her in death Aug. 3, 1989, after 41 years of marriage. She and her husband owned and operated Miller's Supermarket for more than 37 years on Route 56, New Paris RD l. She formerly was employed by A&P Warehouse during WWII. Mrs. Miller was a member of Duncansville Evangelical Lutheran Church where she was a member of the Katherine Von Bora Sunday school class. She was a member of Bedford Springs Chapter 41 Order of Eastern Star, a life member of VFW Post 9219 Ladies Auxiliary in Alum Bank and a former member of the Rebecca Lodge in St. Clairsville. She loved to decorate for all holidays, cook and work in the yard. Most of all, she loved being with her grandchildren, her family and friends. |
