  3.   Source:Wheeler, Albert Gallatin. Genealogical and Encyclopedic History of the Wheeler Family in America says that this Asahel (#4734) m. 1762 Thankful Goodnow. He would have been 48 at the time of such a marriage! This seems unlikely. Based on the naming of the children, it seems more probable that Thankful's husband was Person:Asahel Wheeler (2). This Asahel may be the person who died in 1729 under the name "Asel" Wheeler.
