His birth year is estimated as 1750 and his death year as possibly after 1840. There appears to be no reason to assume he was born as early as 1750. He is assigned a daughter Prudence born about 1771, but her birth year doesn't fit well with the other children in the family, and it is acknowledged that she might have been someone else's daughter (and she also could have been born later).
