  4. Allred, p. 215, makes one of her most egregious errors in giving the birth date and parents of Arad Pomeroy to Medad Pomeroy. This is easily disproved by inspecting the gravestone of Medad Pomeroy (something one would assume Allred did since she says he is buried in Warwick Cemetery) which informs us that he is the son of Dr. Medad Pomeroy, and not Josiah Pomeroy as Allred assumes. Arad, meanwhile, apparently moved out of the purview of Allred's research, causing her to miss the various records naming Arad Pomeroy, such as his marriage in 1806 in Salem, Mass, his 1850 census entry in Salem, and his death in Salem in 1852 naming parents Josiah and Joanna.
