Person:Antoinette Thierault-Leighton (1)

Antoinette Rosalind Thierault-Leighton, had French and Spanish heritage and she grew up in Calcutta, India. Her father was a French Army officer and her mother was Spanish, known as `Captain' & `Cappy'.

Antoinette was an opera singer.

After a ten-day courtship in Egypt, she married Frank Hurley on the 11th April 1918.

While doing a quick look for Antoinette's parents I came across one family tree with a lot of Thierault and Leighton but not Antoinette. They were in Canada with French and English heritage which raises the question of whether her father may have been French Canadian.
