Antoine AUCOIN, born about 1689, son of Martin & Marie GAUDET. He was a ploughman and carpenter. he married on 20 Nov 1713 at St. Charles-des-Mines, Acadie to Anne BRAUD, daughter of Pierre & Marie BOURGEOIS; three children. With his wife and son disembarked at St. Malo on 16 Jan 1759 from the ship "Le Tamerlan." He resided at St. Suliac until he died less than six months later, at the age of 70 years. His wife died 25 days after him.

!MARRIAGE: Recorded in SGA-1, 44 (Baton Rouge, Acad. Records, p. 2). Father Martin was already deceased, died in 1711. Wife's name spelled BREAUX.
