Facts and Events
In 1735 Annaetje, daughter of Joseph, was received into the Readington Reformed Church in Hunterdon County. (Somerset County Genealogical Quarterly. Vol. 7. p. 179.) On June 14, 1747, her daughter Aeltie was baptized. Jan Dorlant and his wife Aeltie van Lewen served as witnesses . (NJGM (New Jersey) Vol. 16. p. 15.) Her son Joseph was born around 1745. In her husband's will, Anne was left all his possessions. Son Joseph received the big Bible. The six daughters -- Trene, Fammy, Arionche, Altchie, Anne, and Rebecca -- and two grandchildren: Margaret and Hannah (who were children of Joshua, deceased) were to receive the estate after Anne's death.
