Her parents are often given as Thomas Whitebread and Agnes Hunt. However, there is too much of a gap in dates for this to be possible, unless the birth years of Anna and her children are seriously incorrect.

It would appear that several decades ago, someone put together a family tree based on common surnames (Wright, Whitebread, Hunt and others) with little regard for when the people actually lived, and this family tree has been widely copied, making its way into the Ancestral File and IGI, with dates made to fit the false family tree.
