    Anna C. Chew, 77, of Greensburg, died Saturday, April 12, 2008, at her home.

    Born April 25, 1930, in Hutchinson, she was a daughter of the late Valentine and Gabriella Terbot Lazar.

    She was a member of St. Edward Catholic Church in Herminie, the St. Edward Sunshine Club, The Herminie Senior Center, the Herminie VFW Post 8427 Ladies Auxiliary and the National Cleveland-Style Polka Hall of Fame.

    In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Dwaine L. Chew; and three brothers, Valentine, John and Albert Lazar.

    Surviving are a sister, Elsie Grkman and her husband, Joseph, of Yukon; a brother, William Lazar, of Venice, Fla.; a sister-in-law, Jane Henry, of Greensburg; and several nieces and nephews.

    Friends will be received from 3 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the BEATTY-RICH FUNERAL HOME INC., Route 136, Madison. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday in St. Edward Catholic Church, Herminie, with Father John Harrold as celebrant. Entombment will follow in Westmoreland County Memorial Park, Hempfield Township.
