Middle name may have been modernized from Dorothea ini transcription.

I was thinking, hm, Anna Dorothea doesn't seem to have had much to do with her birth family after marrying Magnus. Not (quite) so! Turns out that in August 1794 when Gustaf Magnus Bogren is born in Öggestorp one of the witnesses is Ministerii Adjucten Herr [blank] Koren, who may well be the husband of Anna's first cousin Sara Maria Elmström, daughter of Anna Unnerus Elmström.

And sure enough, Anna's next child Carl Johan Bogren, October 1796, has as two of his three witnesses the fully named Adjuncten Herr Carl Peter Koreen, and "Fru Anna Elmström," who I think must be his mother-in-law and Anna Dorothea's half -aunt.

What makes this extra interesting is that Koren makes the trip out to Öggestorp several months before he actually married Anna D's cousin -- he's already somewhat part of the family.

Connection with Sara Bogren is via the fact that she is listed as giving her away at her marriage to Jöns Andersson in manuscript marriage records 1823 for Bankeryd, on Mormon microfilm # . There she is named as Anna Dorothea Billman född. Adrian. At her marriage to Peter Billman 24 September 1809 in Kristina parish Jönköping she is named as a widow (änka) Anna Dorothea Adrian Bogren.

Anna Dorothea is listed as 41 on 7 July 1812 (birth of Hedvig Benedikta), implying birth date between 8 July 1770 and 7 July 1771. She is listed as 61 on 22 August 1834 (death), implying birth date between 23 August 1772 and 22 August 1773. Since both of these dates are given in years only (no months or days) the margin of error doesn't seem too serious.

Identified in hastily written death records as " [??] Hustru Dorothea Adrian," age given as 61 instead of the correct 64.

Identified as "Adriansdotter" at birth of son Magnus Philip January 1806, and as "Adrian" at his death in September.

The family group is recorded as arriving from Jönköping (city) in 1805 and returning there in 1806. The record contains a minimum of literacy and birthplace information, compared to other individuals on that page, and no information about the illegitimate baby Anna had there during that time. Was this tact? revulsion? disinterest? or something else?
  26. Household consists of Peter Billman, Anna Dor. Adrian, their 3 children Carl Fred. Hedvig Benedicta, Christina Sophia, and at some times three of her children from an earlier marriage -- Sara Cath., Johana, and Per Gust., although Per is not listed as "son."
