Woonsocket ANNE MARIE MILES, 65, of 278 Rathbun St., formerly of 32 Park St. Blackstone, Mass., a retired Massachusetts state employee, died Wednesday at home. Born in Quincy, Mass., a daughter of the late George H. and Mary (Drew) Wardwell, she had lived in Blackstone for 25 years before moving to Woonsocket. Mrs. Miles had been employed at the Medfield (Mass.) State Hospital for 26 years before retiring in 1998. She leaves a son, Nelson C. Miles of Blackstone; three daughters, Linda M. Miles of Chatham, N.H., and Lori A. Miles and Cathy T. Miles, both of Woonsocket; and four grandchildren and a great-grandson. Burial will take place in Chatham. -Providence Journal Bulletin 11 July 2003 "Anne Marie (Wardwell) Miles died July 2 after a long battle with cancer. She was predeceased by her parents, Mary Drew and George Wardwell; brothers Albert and George; and daughters, Anne and Carrie. She is survived by daughters Linda of Chatham, Lori of Woonsocket, R.I. and Cathy of Woonsocket; son Nelson of Woonsocket; grandchildren Callie and Catrina Miles and Cody and Miles Bloodworth, all of Woonsocket; great grandson Bradley Menard of Woonsocket; and several nephews and a niece. A graveside service will be held at Center Chatham Cemetery in Chatham at a date to be determined. Her nephew, Andrew Wardwell of Connecticut, will oversee the service.
