Assumed to be her ancestor


Isaac Stedman arrived in New England in 1635 and settled in Scituate, where he was admitted to the church in 1636 [Hotten 68; NEHGR 9:280]. He was last seen at Scituate on 7 October 1651 [PCR 2:172] and by 1657 he had moved to the Muddy River section of Boston [SLR 3:84].
