Anna Porter married Thomas Johnson in 1727 so in trying to discover more about her I looked at Family Search for a birth based on the idea that if her marriage age was between 18-25 then her birth would have been between 1702-1709. There are a few Ann Porter's born in Lincolnshire during this time. While location does not always mean that there is a connection, there is a christening of Ann Porter during 1708 in Orby, which is within easy walking distance of Sloothby.
