This indenture made and entered into this tenth day of February in the year of our lord one thousand eight hundred and thirty seven Between John Johnson Jefse Johnson Mason Johnson Wiley Johnson Malinda Johnson William Boggs Sr William Boggs Jr Ann Johnson and James Hay heirs of Jefse Johnson deceased of Lawrence County and State of Kentucky of the one part and George Johnson of Lawrence County and state aforesaid of the other part Witnefseth that the said heirs party of the first part have to them in hand paid at or before the insealings and delivering of these presents the sum of fifty dollars the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged granted bargained and sold and by these presents do grant bargain sell and unto the aforesaid George Johnson his heirs so forever one certain tract or parcel of land lying and being in Lawrence county on the Right hand fork of Blain Creek it being the lower part of the lower fifty Acre survey Patented to Jefse Johnson {undecipherable, maybe the symbol @} and bounded as follows, To wit, Beginning at a beach standing on the north side of said creek the conditional corner between James Hay and George Johnson Thence South to 50 & 30 poles to two beaches South 77 & 4 poles to a maple South 58 & 44 poles to a white oak North 78 & 36 poles to a beach South 73 & 60 poles to a sugar and white oak N 68 and 20 poles to a beach and Lynn South & 30 poles to a stake North 89 West 109 poles to a stake North 62 W108 poles to a {seipartsee} conditional corner Between said Hay and Johnson thence strait acrofs the Bottom crofsing said creek to the Beginning Together withall and singular the aforesaid Land and primisses with its appurtinances To the sole use and behoofe of him the said George Johnson his heirs so for Ever against us the subscribing heirs of the said Jefse Johnson Deceased and {undecipherable} heirs and {undecipherable} But not against the claim of any older Title or claim whatever in Testimony whereof we the forenamed heirs of the said deceased have here unto set our hands and seals this day and year first above written Signed Sealed and Delivered in the presents of us Test Calvin Sparks Wiley Sparks John Johnson
