  6. This Ann, who married Edward Brinley, is named as a sister of Theoda William Bartlett, and thus as an aunt of the main subject of Source:Bush, Solon Wanton. Memorial Sketch of Theoda Davis Foster Bush, on p. 9. No records have been found to confirm this parentage (notably the death record named no parents). No such birth is found in Roxbury VRs (though possibly her birth is the one recorded under the name Helen? See the discussion on Helen's page.) Roxbury VRs do have a death record for an Ann Matilda Bartlett, d. 1821 age 25 (born about 1796), but no parents are identified. These two Ann Matildas are not likely to belong to the same parents since their lives overlap. More research is needed to sort this all out satisfactorily.
