The Estate of Angel Hollard

" On 25 May 1672, 'administration to the estate of Angell Hollard is granted to Katharine his relict' [SPR 7:116]. The inventory of the estate of 'Angell Hollard who died at Boston last June 1670,' presented on 26 July 1672, totalled £30 2s., and consisted of debts and clothing [SPR 7:131]. The account of the estate of 'Angell Hollard who died in Boston in New England the last day of July 1671' listed expenses of £33 10s., including the following items: 'the passage of his widow and daughter hither,' £12; 'Jno. Brookings for said widow's account since her arrival,' £3; and 'the bill of exchange sent to Mr. Tho[mas] Hollard in England to whom he Angell Hollard owes above £15,' £10 [SPR 7:131]. On an unknown date, but apparently in 1672, 'Katharine Upham administratrix to the estate of Angle Hollard her late husband' brought in an additional inventory, untotalled, the first item of which was 'a parcel of land lying in Boston in the possession of Thomas Moore,' unvalued [SPR 7:215]."[1]
