    "Know all men by these presents that I Andrew Lewis Bane Madison now of the County of Franklin & Commonwealth of Kentucky have nominated, constituted & appointed & by these presents do nominate constitute & appoint my Brother John Madison my Lawful attorney in fact for me and in my name to sell dispose of transfer and convey by bills of Sale or deeds of conveyance any and all of my property in the State aforesd either Lands, slaves or personal of any kind & in any manner he may think proper here by fatifying and confirming whatever my said attorney may legally do in the premises as fully as if done by myself in proper person

    Believe the John Madison mentioned is the one who acts as witness in court, often with a Crockett and is the one who dies leaving everything to his friend Mr Starling.
