RESIDENCE: On tax list of Manchester Twp., York, PA in 1783, in 1787 moved to Maryland and later to Berkeley County, VA area (by 1794). He was on the tax list for 1800 in Berkeley County, VA. Between 1801 and 1808 the family moved to Ross County, OH. On 28 August 1820 he bought 100 acres on Paint Creek near Denver in Huntington Twp., Ross, OH. In 1837 his land near Denver, OH was auctioned to his son Henry. His son Jacob's biography says Andrew was an early settler of Hoop Pole Twp., Ross Co., and he was buried with his wife in the front yard of their old homestead near Chillicothe.
