First resided on Full's Fork, and about 1830 removed to Turkey Fork where he lived on the Francis Kent farm with his brother, Joesph, and Ezekiel McFarland, the only two other settlers on the creek. Ezekiel occupied what was later known as the Roliff farm. Andrew next moved to the upper left Sandy Creek where he died in 1867.
