    came to Ishpeming, Michigan from Sweden in the spring of 1887 and came to Sac County Iowa in 1893 and to Des MOines in 1895 and later became manager of the Telephone Company and was sent to Earlham in 1895 where he made his home almost continuously up until the time of his death

    His obit listed his age at death on 11-8-1929 as 58 yrs 8 mos 24 days - this would make his birthdate 15 Feb 1871 or he would have been age 49 yrs 10 mos 24 days at death.

    I believe that his birthdate is earlier than 1879 due to the fact it would be unusual to be manager of the Telephone Company at the age of 16 years old.

    nOTE: 1900 Greene Co Iowa Census shows his birthdate aa Dec 1870 which fits everything else a bit more logically.

    His obit states survived by one sister Ida Kraft and two borthers - August of Platte, S. Dakota and Frank of Omaha, Ne. no other siblings are mentioned - they may have all passed on before Andrew's death
