- ↑ Newspaper cutting:"The death of Mrs.Amy Stanley(86) of 8 Wellesley Villas, widow of Mr. C Stanley, is believed to have been accelerated by the death of her daughter, Mrs.M.F.Leake, two weeks previously.
Chief mourners at the funeral on Friday were Mr and Mrs S Farmer(son-in-law and daughter), Mr and Mrs Charles Stanley, Mr and Mrs Cecil Stanley, Mr and Mrs B Stanley and Mrs L Stanley (sons and daughters-in-law, the latter also representing her husband), Mr A Mills and Mr L Mills (brothers), Mr L Stanley,jun., and Miss L Stanley (grandchildren, also representing their father), the Rev and Mrs J Griffiths, Mrs Doris Back, Kitty and Ivy (grandchildren). Mr and Mrs J Burkett (cousins), Mr T Davison and Mrs B Saxby (friends).
