    The People of the State of New York, to Amanda Lamphere, of the state of Wisconsin, send greetings:

    You and each of you are hereby cited and required personally to be and appear before our surrogate of the county of Otsego, at the office in the village of Cooperstown, on the 25th day of November, 1867, at 10 o'clock to the forenoon of that day, then and there to oppose or support, as you may see fit, the probate of the last will and testament of Polly Lewis, deceased, which said will relates to real and personal estate, which has been left with our surrogate by Henry Lewis, [claiming?] to be executor of the said deceased.

    In testimony whereof, we have caused the seal of office of our said surrogate to be hereunto affixedd.

    Witness, Hon. K. N. Card, surrogate of our said county [L.S.] of Otsego, at the village of Cooperstown, the 3d day of October, in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and sixty seven. R. M. Card Surrogate
