Alvin C. Egbert, 90, of CR 21, Clyde, died Monday, Nov. 21, 2005, at his home.

Mr. Egbert was born Oct. 31, 1915, in Clyde to the late Courtney and Inez Egbert. He was preceded in death, May 9, 1999, by his wife, Atta May Ruch Egbert, whom he married June 29, 1946. Survivors include a brother, Dale Egbert of Fostoria; three sisters, Edith Rhoad of Bloomville, Pauline Shultz of Republic and Mardella Woolson of East Hampton, N.J.; nieces; nephews; and his caregivers, Dennis and Mel Wammes of Fremont. A sister, Anna Ruth Bailey, and a brother, Don Egbert, also are deceased.

Visitation will be 10-11 a.m. Friday, Nov. 25, 2005, at the Mitchell-Auxter Funeral Home, 218 S. Main St., Clyde, followed by the funeral at 11 a.m. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memory Gardens.
