    MONROEVILLE - Alta L. Forgerson, 77, 18 Prospect St., Monroeville, died Tuesday in Twilight Gardens Geriatric Center, Norwalk, after a lengthy illness.
    Born in Monroeville, she was a 1927 graduate of Monroeville High School and a graduate of Oberlin Business School.
    She was a member of Zion Episcopal Church, Monroeville.
    Surviving , are a daughter, Mrs. Albert (Janet) Monk, Reno, Nev.; and a stepson, William Forgerson, Fremont.
    She was preceded in death by her husband, Miles, in 1969, and her parents.
    Friends may call from 9:30 a.m. until services at 11 a.m. Thursday in Drake-Groff Funeral Home, 29 N. Main St., Monroeville. The Rev. Eleanor Brouillard, First United Presbyterian Church of Milan, will officiate.
    Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Monroeville.
    Memorial contributions, if desired, may be made to the American Cancer Society.
