Per Robert Eldredge: "Almy was not known to be married. It is very interesting to note that, upon her death, Almy's will was probated on 19 October 1789. Her will, dated 8 March 1788, left her monetary estate to her brother-in-law Samuel Jackson for a period of ten years. After that, the estate was to be divided between Samuel's sons, Solomon and James. As for her other possessions, Almy left them as follows: "To nephew Solomon Jackson she left her Negroe Boy named Obadiah, her 'Cow and Cubbard and my Best Bed and beding and my Silver buckles.' "To sister Mary Buffet 'all my wearing clothes and the one equal half of my house hold goods'. "To sister Deborah Jackson 'the other remaining half' of her household goods."
