    Allison was the son of John (1815 - 1899) and Eliza (1828 - 1902) (Bennet) Rorebeck. He was born in Page County, IA. In 1890 he married Cynthia [Ruth] Webb (1874 - 1926) in Westboro, MO. They lived there a few years, then moved to Iowa - first to Fremont County and later to Dickinson County, Spirit Lake. They were the parents of two. Allison died in Dickinson County 12/10/1934.
