Allen Green Barton was born 22 Sept 1878 to James F Barton and Deliah Elizabeth Garten and died 2 Feb 1944. He married Lena Ellen Quinn 3 Oct 1900. Their children were William Rassie, Roy Quinn and James Carl. He re-married on 3 Dec 1924 to Willie Heedrick Shepard they had two girls Ella Jean and Laura Sue. Allen was a farmer, carpenter and cabinetmaker. He built numerous houses and owned property at Bellepoint and three farms, the tower sheep ranch, the Swinney place or river farm, and the Barton Ridge farm. He had grown potatoes that were better then the Idaho record for size. He lived on the Ridge farm til his death.
