BIRTH-MARRIAGE-DEATH: Federal census Cook Co., IL; death index, tombstone (1857-1933), family knowledge, obit in Chicago Tribune. 1900 IL Census states she had 13 children; 1910 IL census (dated 27 April 1910) says 14 children.

UPDATE: Letter from Luella Haskin Marron, 16 October 2004 gives name and dates of 14th child born.

DEATH CERTIFICATE: Gives birth date as 20 December 1857, info given by son Robert E. Haskin. The 1900 census gives her birth as April 1857. This 1900 census has about 50% of the right birth months for her children! 1930 Illinois federal census says married at age 15. (SHG-If she was born December 1857 she would have been 15 years old in March 1873.) No marriage record can be found in Illinois records.

20 Feb 1856 is another birth date.
