    Alice Andrews, b. say 1618. … She died before 2 April 1641 on which date her father and William Franklin, her husband, agreed that £40 of her marriage portion, still unpaid, should remain in her father's hands until her daughter, Elizabeth Franklin, should marry or reach age 18, whereupon an additional £40 should be added to it and £80 should be turned over to her; careful provisions were made for Elizabeth's upbringing and education by her grandfather or her stepmother, Phebe Franklin, in the event William Franklin died during her minority [Annis Spear Anc 152-53, citing EQC 3:162-66].
