- ↑ Source:Griffen, Robert C. Wolcott Genealogy, p. 256, in its listing of children for Henry Wolcott and 2nd wife Elizabeth Williams shows "Alexander7 Field, b. 17 June 1806; d. 16 June 1836; m. Lydia Starr". Source:Proceedings at the Centennial Celebration of the Incorporation of the Town of Longmeadow, October 17th, 1883, p. 95, gives "Alexander Field, born Jan. 17, 1806, died in Florida". The only source found in support of these stories is an obituary in 1836 indexed by Source: GenealogyBank.Com (see here) which gives his name as Alexander T Wolcott, age 30, father Henry, no indication of a wife, which seems to indicate the death occurred in Springfield. No birth, marriage or death record has been located.
