Labor leader and Barber for 47 years. A charter member of the Barber's Local Union 303. He served as president for two years and as Financial Secretary and Treasurer for 47 years. He was president emeritus of the New York Barbers Association. Barber shop located at 108 East Bridge Street(later became Cavanaugh Cleaners). Know as "Allie". Owned and operated Dinty Moore's Restaurant and Saloon located at 245 East Tenth street in Oswego. He was active in Politics locally. A Democratic Committeeman in third district of the Sixth Ward for half a century. Member of the Operation Oswego Community Chest and Oswego Chapter American Red Cross. Member St. Paul's Catholic Church and the National Nocturnal Adoration Society.
