Alexander Black may have been a brother of Gills Black, the wife of Hannah’s brother, William Van Norman.

A doctor, Alexander Black MD, was noted by J. Powell. (S1)

In 1832 after Hannah died, Alexander Black bought clergy reserve lot 2 concession 3 South of Dundas Street in Nelson Township. He sold it the next year to James Dynes of Burlington Beach for 250 pounds.

His wife was buried at Mt Vernon Cemetery (S2)
