Albert was 13 when the photo was taken. He lived on 134th Street in Riverdale (Chicago Portion). His father was born in Germany and his mother in Illinois (although he states in later censuses that she was born in Germany, so she was likely of German origin), I have not traced either farther back.

About 1912 Albert married Eva ??, who was born in Austria (1910 census) or Germany (1920 census). They had 3 children, none of whom I have managed to trace further. Eva may have died in 1931. Albert may have died sometime in the 1930s or 1940s - see below for possible death dates.

Albert was a machinist throughout the census and draft records - for the Pullman Co., for the "car companies", for a harvesting machine company, and in 1930 in the iron and steel industry.
